Plan for leaf-peeping season and explore the outdoors!

-From Waitsfield in Vermont, go NORTH on VT-100 through Irasville and Waitsfield Village.
-Go about 5 miles beyond Waitsfield village then turn left to stay on VT-100 NORTH.
-Keep an eye out for moose and black bear as you travel over Duxbury Hill on VT-100. Follow VT-100 through Waterbury Village and stay north toward Stowe.
-On the left, is Green Mountain Chocolate and the Cabot Creamery Store. A little further north is Cold Hollow Cider Mill on the right.
-Another 4 miles north on the LEFT is the turnoff to the Trapp Family Lodge, which is 5 miles off of VT-100.
-Return to VT-100 and continue on to Stowe Village. A LEFT onto VT-108 is a very scenic drive to Smuggler’s Notch.
-Return to VT-100 and continue NORTH to Morrisville.
-Take VT-12 SOUTH for a very pretty drive past Lake Elmore (great foliage area) and to the Montpelier.
-A RIGHT turn onto State Street (Business VT-2) takes you past the state capitol.
-Continue WEST on VT-2 along the Winooski River to Middlesex.
-Take a LEFT onto VT-100B, through Moretown to VT-100 SOUTH back to Waitsfield.
Approximately 65 miles.
