I know this day can be extremely hard for some and a joyful occasion for others! It can also be a bittersweet day for a lot of women but I wanted to say Happy Mother’s Day to all of you! Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers out there, those who long to be mothers, those who have lost their precious mothers and those “first” mommies who chose adoption for your precious little one. I will be sending up and extra prayer for all of you who are struggling today. 🤍

To all of those who have lost your moms…I do not know your pain and I pray I don’t for many many years to come, but my heart is with you. Cherish those years you had with your mom and know you have an Angel looking down on you today!

To all of those who are struggling with infertility and long to be a mother, my heart goes out to you. Just know that God has a plan for you and it is going to be GREAT!

And the ones that are so near and dear to my heart…birth moms (or as we call them in our family, “first” mommies or “tummy” mommies). I know this day must be unfathomably hard, but just know how amazing you are and we are thinking of you on this day! We are so grateful for tummy mommies because of the immense joy that she gave our family with our precious Palmer!

Also, thank you to my sweet Ben, who made a mother almost 10 years ago! It was a long LABOR of love, but so worth it!

Happy Easter Sunday!
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
1 Peter 1:3

I have so much to give praise to our Lord and Savior for! I want to thank you Jesus for the immense love you have for all of us! The ultimate sacrifice was made so that we may have eternal life with you! That kind of love is truly unfathomable especially knowing we all fail You everyday and You still love us without hesitation. I am so thankful for the blessings you have given me this year in my personal life and my business life! Even though there have been many storms already this year, the good far outweighs the bad and you always pull us through the hard times!

I encourage you today, if you feel despair, lonely, like something is missing…pick up your Bible and start a relationship with Jesus! It’s truly amazing to see what he can do to our hearts!

We celebrated our risen Savior with a wonderful church service, brunch with family and egg hunt in our neighborhood! Thank you Jesus for all of my blessings!

If you want to stay in the cutest AirBNB ever…then look no further than “Fins Up Inn Oxford” by in Oxford, MS!

This house is 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large open concept kitchen/living area, full washer and dryer and PERFECTLY DECORATED!

has such an eye for interior design and this house is so charming…literally every square inch in Instagram worthy!

The host and her team were so accommodating and so easy to work with! We LOVED our stay here and will definitely be repeat guests!

Happy Birthday to my better half! The one who is always there for me and the kids no matter what! The one who says ok to all of my crazy ideas, even when I decided to fulfill my dream of being a content creator! He didn’t even bat an eye when I told him…just told me to go for it!

He is the best dad, the best husband and the best provider! He loves our kids endlessly, works extremely hard and prays for his family daily!

I honestly don’t know what we would do without you! Thanks for always going with the flow and saying yes to almost everything I ever decide to do 😂

We love you so much! And thank goodness those two excruciating months of me being older than you are over now 😂

We have been having the best time in Key West! I know some may think that Key West is just a vacation for adults, but there are tons of family friendly things to do here!

I can’t wait to share all of the things we did. I think you will be surprised at how much there is for you and your kids to enjoy!

We leave the Keys on Saturday and I am already sad thinking about leaving this beautiful island, but I can’t wait to share more details soon!

You will definitely want to add this to your list for amazing tropical vacations for your family!

There are so many new faces around here! Just last week I was over the moon that I hit 10K followers and now there are over 35k of you! I can’t thank you enough for being here! I wanted to give a few little quick facts about me so you all can get to know me a little better!

•I am a mother of two to my 9 year old son and my 3 year old daughter.
•I have been married to my husband Andy for 10 years!
•We are from Arkansas.
•I also work part time in pediatric physical therapy.
•I am a licensed travel advisor.

•We try to travel somewhere once a month even if it’s just a close long weekend trip!

Have you ever eaten at ? This restaurant has locations in Minnesota, Iowa and the Dakotas!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here! The food was excellent, the service was great, and the atmosphere was just gorgeous!

If you are ever visiting one of these 4 states, then I highly recommend checking out this restaurant for a fun dinner option! I truly wish they would put one in Arkansas!

Since it is a new year, I wanted to start off 2023 with a reintroduction to myself, my family and this account ⬇️

My name is Chelsea, and I am a wife and working momma who loves to travel! Keep reading ⬇️

I am always looking for ways to maximize our vacation time in between work, school, baseball games and dance recitals!

I know a lot of the travel accounts on Instagram are from those traveling full time or spending months upon months traveling and I know sometimes that is just not possible! That is where my family and I come in…

We are NOT full time travelers! That is just not in the cards for us right now with ours and our kids schedules! So I love sharing travel inspiration for those looking for amazing vacations and destinations that you can squeeze in with your family!

I want to help you maximize your vacation days with helpful advice, itineraries, destination ideas and tips…whether it be a family trip, couples trip or even a quick getaway with your girlfriends…I will cover it all!

With the new year…I am looking to expand my business and there may be a few changes coming…starting with my username! Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas!

I can’t believe 2022 is almost over! Is anyone thinking about their goals for 2023!?

I have numerous goals with my account here and hope to see those come to fruition! I have many travel goals for this year and am hopeful that I will be able to carry out many of those goals! I have many goals for health, family and friendships as well!

What are some of your 2023 goals? Would love to know if you have any specific travel goals in mind?

Some of my travel goals are:
•take my kids to at least 5 destinations they have never been (hopefully more)
•check 3 more states off my list
•explore more of my own home state
•try travel activities that I have never tried before
•check 3 more national parks off of our list

Did you know there were multiple Mayan Ruins sites and not all of them are the large temples that we have in our minds!

During our time in Cozumel with visited the only Mayan Ruins archaeological site on the island…San Gervasio!

We learned so much on our tour and had the most amazing tour guide who was a Mayan descendent!

San Gervasio was a significant site for Mayan women, who would travel there to pay homage to Ixchel, the goddess of birth and fertility.

This was well worth it and Ben still talks about all of the things he learned throughout our tour!

Now I want to add a few other Mayan Ruin sites to my list…
•Chichen Itza
•Coba
•Tulum

Real talk about the Jamaica stop on our Disney Cruise…

We were really split 50/50 on what we thought about our Jamaican excursion with the cruise!

The Pros:
•Jamaica is really a beautiful island. This was my first time in Jamaica and I loved the mountainous landscapes juxtaposed with the beautiful beach!

•The people. The people of Jamaica were incredibly kind and accommodating!

•The cruise port. This was the nicest cruise port of any of the 3 stops we had! Very clean, so many shops, live music…very nice

•The food. We rented a private cabana on the beach and it came with lunch and beverages and the jerk chicken and the fish were AMAZING!

Now for the cons and I hate to give cons but it was definitely not our favorite stop

•The organization. The time it took for our group to actually get to our excursion was well over 2 hours after we got off the boat! We stood at the pier for 45 minutes before we ever got loaded into a shuttle to take us to the beach, then once we got into the shuttle. We waited another 20 minutes before ever taking off. Then the drive to the beach was about 45 min to an hour. So this was kind of a pain as it cut into our excursion time! I honestly don’t know if the blame falls on Disney or with the excursion company on this!

•The beach on our excursion. I personally think the beach could have been a little cleaner. There was a lot of trash that hadn’t been picked up. So this was kind of a bummer!

While we thought Jamaica was a beautiful island and the people were very friendly! The waiting and the beach not being that clean kind of put a little bit of a damper on the day! We still had a great time and will definitely give Jamaica another chance! Just wanted to give my honest thoughts on this excursion!

The kiddos and Andy and I are really enjoying our time so far on the Disney Magic! The ship is amazing with so many activities for everyone!

Some of the things we have done so far:

✨Palmer received her princess makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

✨Ben has spent hours in the Oceaneer Club and the Oceaneer Lab

✨We attended the Sail A Wave deck party! This was so fun!

✨We have met Daisy, Donald, Rapunzel and Santa so far! With many more to come

✨Attended a magic show

✨Had a nice morning relaxing by the pool

✨Eaten wonderful meals at Cabanas and Animator’s Palette!

✨Christmas tree lighting with Mickey and Friends!

All of this in just day and half and even though it seems like a lot, it has honestly been very relaxing so far! No real plans! Just going with the flow! Character meet and greets are around the clock and the lines are nothing like Disney World!

Tomorrow we have another full day at Sea and the next day we will dock in Jamaica! We are so excited and can’t wait to share all the details with you when I can!

Since today is TRAVEL TUESDAY…then I would like to share with you some of my favorite destinations in the USA!

I love all of these places for many different reasons!

I love variety in my travels! If I do a city trip, then I want to do a mountain trip on the next one! Or if I do a theme park trip, then my next trip will usually be a relaxing beach vacation!

I love mixing it up! I don’t want to just stick to national parks or only cities! I LOVE IT ALL and I want to SEE IT ALL!

This is one thing I truly love about the United States…there is such a variety of things to see and do! So many different landscapes, experiences and adventures! I love seeing all my country has to offer and I hope to add more of it to my list in 2023!

Big Cedar Lodge near Branson, MO is a tradition for our family! It is a beautiful rustic resort nestled in the Ozarks on Table Rock Lake! We have been coming here every holiday season since I was pregnant with Ben, so 10 years now!

Branson is about 4.5 hours from our hometown so it’s a pretty easy trip to make for the weekend!

We love Christmas time here! There are so many activities going on during the holiday season and the lights around the property stunning!

We love that everything is right here on property! The first night we ate dinner at the Worman House and it was amazing! The Truman House is the perfect little sandwich shop-great stop for lunch.

Although we didn’t have time to go this year, Top of the Rock is another area owned by Big Cedar where there is a golf course, more amazing restaurants, and even a golf cart cave tour! We always do this when we come in the summer! There are shuttle busses that will take you from your resort to Top of the Rock! If you’ve never been, you must go! The views up here are spectacular!

The Cedar Creek Spa on property is one of the best spas I have ever been to! If you are getting away for a girls trip or romantic getaway, then I highly recommend booking a few spa services!

My kids’ favorite thing is Fun Mountain! It is an adventure wonderland with go-karts, bumper cars, arcade, bowling alley and ropes course! There is also a restaurant, Uncle Buck’s, for a good place to grab a casual dinner!

So many things to do here and the summer activities are endless as well, but I’ll save that for another post 😉

▫️stopped for pizza at Source (would not recommend, service was terrible and pizza was just ok)
▫️Boston Tea Party (highly recommend) the whole tour was fantastic.
▫️Ubered to Little Italy in the North End
▫️dinner at ! Cannot recommend this place enough! It was phenomenal!
▫️Cannoli at

🤎Day 3-road trip day
▫️left in our rental and headed to Newport, RI
▫️brunch at the Vanderbilt hotel
▫️shopped around Newport
▫️Newport Mansions
▫️toured the Breakers Mansion (highly recommend)
▫️drove into Mystic, CT and New London
▫️Back to Boston for dinner (amazing)

🤎Day 4
▫️Boston Public Library (gorgeous)
▫️Trinity Church
▫️Brunch at (highly recommend, such a cute atmosphere and great food)
▫️shopped in Back Bay (everything from Zara and H&M to high end designer such as LV and Chanel in this area)
▫️late afternoon we did The Freedom Trail (this a definite must do-to see where John Hancock is buried and Paul Revere’s home, plus so much more-it’s truly amazing the history in this city)
▫️drinks at tavern! (Highly recommmend-the oldest tavern in America)
▫️dinner at (excellent)

This was the perfect itinerary for our girls trip, but it would definitely work for couples or solo trips as well! I would tweak a few things for families, like changing up a few restaurants and adding in the science and children’s museum!

Kimpton Nine Zero was the perfect spot for our Boston girls trip! This boutique hotel in Downtown Boston had so much to offer! We loved this hotel for many reasons ⬇️

📍location, location, location! It is located in Downtown Boston, steps away from Boston Common and The Freedom Trail. It was also just about a 5 min walk to the Beacon Hill district! Plenty of shopping and restaurants also nearby!

🤎The aesthetic of this hotel was also super appealing! A modern vibe but still keeping the historic feel of the area! It was a chic, simplistic, warm space that we fell in love with!

🛏️The rooms were spacious and comfortable! The bathrooms were large and there was plenty of counter space and storage! We also had a mini fridge in the room which I always like to have! That is a big deal when traveling with your family or girlfriends!

🍷 The amenities were great at this hotel! Every night between 5-6 was free wine from the lounge in the lobby! Such a nice perk!
Better Sorts Social Club above the lobby had great food and wonderful cocktails!
24 hour fitness center and so much more!

If you are traveling to Boston, then I highly recommend this hotel! We could not have asked for a more seamless stay!

B•O•S•T•O•N 🤎you have stolen my heart! You are now at the top of my list of favorite cities in the USA!

There are so many wonderful things that I can say about this fantastic city! But here is a list of some of the things I enjoyed the most about the city!

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will reopen August 25th! I know there will be a lot of happy little princesses on their next vacation! Reservations should open early August!

So excited for my clients, but sad for us…Palmer will miss the opening by a few days on our next trip! Oh well…just another reason to tell my husband we have to go back really soon right!? 😜
