2 years ago I quit my job to be home with my son.

I needed to make $800/month to afford to be home.

I was scared of making us go broke.

I was scared to try to start a business from home.

I was scared to quit my job.

BUT

I was also scared to miss out on my baby.

I was also scared I wasn’t gonna get the time back.

I was scared I’d stay “stuck” because I didn’t step out.

So I quit.

And I took a chance on me.

The result?

I got to go to the zoo with my little.

I got to go the park at 11am on a Thursday.

When he was sick I didn’t have to stress missing work for 3 days.

When he wanted pancakes we went and found the biggest pancakes we could find.

We play at the play gyms and met up with friends for playdates.

I have gotten to be FULLY WITH HIM….. WHILE earning a full time income with flexible hours.

Was it easy ?

Nope.

One of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

You can NEVER charge what you're worth.

Because YOU are priceless.

Your worth and your business worth are NOT THE SAME THING.

Your services have a market price.

YOU do not.

Do not tie your value to your business's value.

When clients say "no" it's either the wrong offer or the wrong client- it's not YOU.

When people say "You're too expensive"- Either the offer or the client isn't a match.

When you question your value and wonder if you should lower prices- question the OFFER'S value- not YOURS.

Woke up to a news website asking for an interview.

2 months ago I bought Smile Direct Club and have been happy with the results.

When I announced on TikTok I’d be using the company the video took off with over 4 Million views.

Well as of a few days ago I had followers messaging me news articles from CBS News , Forbes, and The New York Times saying that Smile Direct Club had announced they were winding down operations and all orders placed would be canceled and people like me in the middle of treatment would not longer have ortho check ins.

I hadn’t even made it to my first ortho meeting.

I posted an update about the experience and the video is already at over 700k views.
