(VIDEO)- UNIONVILLE STUDENTS STAGE WALKOUT IN PROTEST OVER GUN VIOLENCE
At 10 o'clock this morning, students from Unionville High School walked out in solidarity for 17 minutes.
About 75 students gathered outside the front of the school to remember the victims of Columbine and advocate for measures like HB1400 which would expand background checks to include all gun sales in PA, SB501 which would force those convicted of domestic abuse to relinquish their firearms, and SB1030 which would ban bump stocks.
East Marlborough police and East Marlborough Public Works Department blocked all entrances and exits with vehicles. The students displayed a sign that read "We're Still Here."
