Two coffee shop night owls bought microphones and decided they were funny one day. They had felt a general malaise and tedium falling upon humanity but specifics had gone amiss. At a complete loss for ideas, they stabbed in the dark and decided that at the very least, the world should know exactly how they felt about a hit television show now fourteen years aged. “It’s never been done before!” proclaimed Rex aloud. Josh replied, “Well… actually, there’s like six other Buffy related podcasts.” “But nobody’s ever reviewed the entirety of Buffy with our specific voices before!”, retorted Rex. And they were filled with joy!
In a short amount of time, history had been made. The night owls drank of their craft brews, sipped of their overly creamenated strained burnt bean juice, licked of their chewy chocolate treat filled lollipops to the very center, and dined upon the most important sustenance of all… late 90’s television. The microphones popped and whistled with every syllable uttered by the sad man-children. They gleefully notated and repeated each of their thoughts and quips without mercy, without class, without regards. They produced a raw and organic piece of aural-tastic art and decided verily to release weekly episodes for your listening pleasure and/or self flagellation.
Oh, and they asked Ben to write some music. Ben’s the squirrel.
