#2 Remember When Country Store

(Not ranked #2, just the second business on the list of local places we were cutomers of last week).

We had an inspection in White Sulphur Springs, which happened to go past Remember When, which I have been wanting to try for so long I can't tell you. So we popped in.

What a delight that was, as Makayla was so friendly and genuinely welcoming. We browsed the isles for a bit to scope out all the goodies. She has a wonderful selection of goods, groceries and great fresh food items, all homemade! There were even new plants to take home and ramps available when we were there.

It's always good to know where needed items can be purchased on our travels. So we grabbed a few items and of course, some goodies to nibble on in the truck.

Well, the maccaroni salad barely made it out of the parking lot and we had to pullover to finish devouring the cinnamon roll. We were just making noises at that point. Hand to God, BEST cinnamon roll I've ever had, my personal opinion, but there it is. It was fresh out of the oven, so that probably had something to do with it.

The old-fashioned chocolate cake was saved for my evening tea time, and it too was just wonderful. It's so awesome that we now have a regular client in the area. I will get to stop by and enjoy Remember When Country Store goodies and meals all the time!

If you haven't stopped by it's worth going out of your way, and it's definitely worth it if you are passing. Especially for that home baked goodness and beyond friendly atmosphere.

#1 Hedrick's Customs LLC

So the Rambler had quite the week. We had the privilege to use several local businesses that I want to shout out to! So let's start with Hedricks! Hedricks are, of course, our neighbors in Ronceverte, and they do epic work.

We had an incident, you might say.

Our 110lb male great dane did not take to kindly to the car ride after his vet visit. He showed his displeasure by throwing up, not once, but twice! And that is absolutely everything awful you can imagine it was. Luckily it was the Jeep used for running errands, but still, a very necessary vehicle.

Now, my mom usually gives great advice, but this time, it must have been a fluke. She told me to cover it in baking soda. Which I sadly did. The result was something that needed professionally addressed. Enter Hedricks.

Thanks to Jay who is quite literally a miracle worker! My Jeep can be ridin in again. I was honestly thinking of just selling it as is. I was so sure it was unsavable.

Hedricks is the best and Jay and Jason know their stuff! Can't recommend them more. I don't wish what happend to me upon anyone, but should you find yourself willing to sell the car than clean it...Call Hedricks.

We are at the concert to support the AMERICAN HERITAGE MUSIC HALL .This is such an amazing good time! Thomas Taylor Band is fantastic, no one wants to sit down and when ya do your toe is tapping. The food is homemade and delicious. We haven't cut a rug and eaten like this since our wedding! Fantastic time, fantastic people. Hope these wonderful people can get back in the Music Hall soon.

Just a glimpse of the front page...Don't think I'm slackin guys, I just have a day job lol. Great content just around the corner. Stay tuned.
