AVVR ( Audio Visual and Video Resources, Inc) was started as a full service rental company in 1979. AVVR serviced the corporate rental market concentrating on the full service hotel clients. AVVR grew and another office in downtown Minneapolis was added in 1984. Continued growth moved our corporate headquarters to a larger building in Eagan. Servicing the hotel market was still our main business.
In the 1990’s we started expanding our client base to include many of the corporate clients in the area. Our business continued to grow and to shift more towards the corporate client and now is about a 50/50 mix of corporate and hotel business. We have since moved into a much larger facility and warehouse all of our operations from Bloomington Minnesota just a few blocks from the Mall of America. We still service many of the local hotels and keep staff and equipment at some of the premier full service hotels in the metro area. Our staff consists of 7 full time technicians, 2 full time delivery technicians, and 5 support and management. We have a 14,000 square foot warehouse full of sound, lighting, video, and projection equipment, and a fleet ofvehicles. In the last few years we have concentrated on buying new technology and upgrading our standard equipment. We have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on new equipment and training our staff to stay current on the technology needed to serve our customers. Our customers continue to be many local hotels and also local and national corporations. In the last year we have traveled to every corner of the country servicing our clients. We have the capability of delivering any size event to anywhere in the country. At AVVR we also partner with some of the best local specialty vendors in the area. We do all the coordination to your specifications which helps all aspects of a show run more smoothly.
