Realtors share market info on social to position themselves as experts to educate potential buyers & sellers, right? Well, a lot of times it is a snooze fest for followers (graphs, charts, & numbers, that don’t mean much to anyone who isn’t in the real estate industry). All your follower wants to know is can I buy a house and how?

Here are some ideas for how to make those boring market updates a little more catchy!

USE ATTN GRABBING HEADLINES IN YOUR CAPTIONS:
📈Example: “THE HOUSE YOU CAN AFFORD THIS YEAR MIGHT BE OVER YOUR BUDGET NEXT YEAR” (when talking about how home prices have and are still increasing). Explain how their buying power is decreasing the longer they wait!

EXPLAIN MARKET STATS IN EASY TO UNDERSTAND TERMS: If you’re sharing “average days on market” or “how many homes sold last month”, explain what it means.

Take a look at the new interior for !

Sleeping Giant Gardens is a local dispensary and grow operation located in Helena. When they approached Mija Marketing to do an interior rebrand we were stocked. Sleeping Giant already had a logo in place that had a forestry service vibe, and we decided to play off that.

In the last year Sleeping Giant Gardens partnered with to create a cannabis friendly glamping experience.

We tried to incorporate as much wood, earthy tones, and Smokey the Bear fun! Growing up in Montana you are probably custom to seeing Smokey the Bear fire report signs. One of the fire options says “Very High”, which how perfect is that for a dispensary!? Stop in to see the full project!

3 things you can do to move the needle in your real estate business THIS WEEK!

1. Email your database - not some generic bs that one cares about. Create content that infuses value and excitement.

Goal: Create top of mind awareness without harassing people - YAY

2. Scroll strategically - if you feel like you spend too much time on social but at the same time feel like your growth is stagnant - it’s probably because you’re spending too much time watching reels and shopping (GUILTY)!

Try this: Pick a number - let’s say 20 & have a goal to connect with that many new people this week.

Search local hashtags to find other local entrepreneurs, bloggers, moms, golfers - anyone who stops your scroll! Find something you have in common & leave a comment or reply to their story. Start the relationship.

3. Highlight Local Businesses - go grab lunch on a patio with a past client, snap a pic. Tag that restaurant. Tell people what you got and who you went out for lunch with. Describe the atmosphere.
