Grief is a strange and tentacled beast.
Right now it has me wanting to collect my late friend Dave's early equipment designs. I don't know why I feel the need to do this exactly.
It also made me wanna keep this pic Julie sent me to myself for whatever reason.
A picture of him, young and in his element, surrounded by tape machines, that brings me joy and sadness simultaneously.
Dave Hill was a wonderful friend and mentor to me, and each and every one of his equipment designs are wonderful too.
Here are a pair of tube equalizers he designed, long before I knew him. I'm gonna start using them today.
Not trying to bum anyone out, just seems necessary to me at the moment.
