The Carmel Fire Auxiliary has been hosting the Community Assistance Program (CAP) since the 1960’s. We provide a holiday meal, presents for children under 18, and staple items for their pantries. Last year we sponsored 175 families.

We have approximately 130 children that still need sponsored.

If you would like to be involved we have several options available.

1) You can sponsor a family. You can pick if you would like to sponsor a family with one child, or two or more. We will send you then information, and you would shop for the children. We ask that you spend about $100-$125 per child. Once the shopping is done, you would then wrap the presents, and bring them to our Carmel Training Center (just East of 106th/Gray Road) where they will wait patiently for Delivery Day. Delivery Day is December 14th. If you would like to sponsor a family please fill out THIS FORM.
2) For any family that doesn’t get sponsored, we will do the shopping for them on Wednesday December 11th at 9:00am at Meijer. Once the shopping is completed we will then go to Station 341 for the wrapping and pizza luncheon. It’s a great volunteer opportunity.
3) Delivery Day is December 14th! Starting at 9:00 am at the Carmel Training Center. Members of the community arrive in full force to be Santa Claus. We will load up the vehicle with the food and presents, and give you the directions to make the delivery. Typically we have all deliveries completed by noon!
Attached is a flyer with more information.

We would love your help!
