Meet Mavi our Pirate Paws of the week! He is a super sweet boy who loves to give kisses! The staff at HSEC says he is so handsome, and they think he will make a great addition to any home. He does have lots of energy, so he would prefer a house with a nice, fenced backyard for playtime. His foster says Mavi is a big cuddler and he loves rope toys and walks. Since he is such an active, playful puppy, he is required to go to a home with another playful four-legged friend. Mavi is looking for a friend that he can play with until they are both tired and take a nap. He is excited to meet everyone! Contact the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina for more information.

Meet Becks our Pirate Paws of the week! This sweet little guy is on the search for his forever home and he couldn't be more excited about it. Becks is a loving puppy who loves playing, holding conversations, eating snacks, and spending quality time with the people he loves. If you think Becks could be a good addition to your home you can fill out an adoption application to meet him. Puppies may be adorable but will require a lot of training and patience to ensure they become the absolute best canine citizens. We ask all interested puppy adopters to take the time to consider the amount of commitment puppies take and if that fits into their current and future lifestyle! Meet our Pirate Paws of the Week, Mr. Fury! Fury is a 2 year old neutered male. This sweet boy might be one eyed but that doesn't stop him from seeing how bright his future could be with you. Here is what HSEC staff had to say about Fury: "Mr. Fury is the sweetest cat! He wants nothing more than to be held like a baby and cuddled. He likes to spend his days as an office cat following staff around for belly rubs or occasionally meowing to be held. Fury might only have one eye but that doesn't slow him down one bit. He lives his life to the fullest everyday and we can't wait until he gets the forever family that he deserves."
