Our friend and newsletter reader, Tom, sends Senior Goldmine gift subscriptions to nine friends, most of whom are widows or widowers. That's his way of adding a little sunshine to their lives each month.

Of the more than 300 subscriptions we send to 33 states, nearly half of them are gifts from friends. A subscription makes a great gift for Christmas, birthdays or anniversaries.
