Creating custom angles with ModTruss is simple with the hinge blocks from . At C&C we carry both the 180° and flat hinges for 6 inch and 12in truss.

Connecting speed rail to is no problem and at C&C we have tons of options.

•Slide 2
The 90° pipe offset manufactured by ModTruss allows you to place a piece of pipe perpendicular to the ModTruss. These also pass through if that’s needed.

•Slide 3
This is the 0° pipe offset that’s also manufactured by ModTruss. This piece allows a technician to place a piece of speed rail parallel to the truss but that’s not it’s only use. It’s a great option to hang lamps from Mod. It’s also a versatile way to connect pipe to the ModTruss system that can be used in a multitude of ways.

•Slide 4
This is a part that C&C had manufactured that we call the ModStarter. This part is used the same way a speed rail starter is utilized. It’s a 1 1/2 inch pipe that accepts Pro-Burgers, Cheeseborough’s, and 1 1/2in pipe fittings.

•Slide 5
This is another item that C&C had manufactured that we call the 1 1/4in drop down coupler. These are great for soft boxes when you want to drop pipe legs down from a ModTruss frame but you want them close to the edge of the truss to get a clean edge for your textiles.

Skjonberg built us this upgraded power and control system for our chain hoist. It’s a UL compliant system that can be jumped like our older PD’s and these still have the 120v courtesy plug. my favorite part is the metal 🤘 connections for the control cables, no more easily breakable plastic connectors. We currently are sticking 6-way and 12-way controllers each with their own E-stop, another upgrade from our older controllers. This system is currently available and will be sent out with all our hoist’s in LA while in stock.

Key grip came up with this solution for a extendable lamp position on a recent AT&T spot in Los Angeles. Using the 3 inch extrusion track in conjunction with the 6 inch he created a stable and adjustable platform for the lamp with a considerably lower material weight than the standard 12 inch box truss and I beam set ups.

Using the 3 inch extrusion track in conjunction with the 6 inch ModTruss he created an adjustable lamp position and stable platform with materials way lighter than the traditional 12in box truss and I beam.
