From my first year as a grip, cameraman, then studio manager, I continued in the industry spending fifteen years in various levels of management, culminating as the GM of an independent station in the Greensboro ADI. The INTV network later launched the PAX network in 1998 as part of an eighty-six-station network group. Working exclusively in sales, I merged into the WXII affiliation agreement that
matured into a ten-year sales career at WXII. Gorilla mktg began in March of 2010 in response to various business owners requesting I provide advertising advice. During my thirty years in the industry, I have had the opportunity to learn all facets of the business. I focus this knowledge into each client's particular, unique aspects to expand and fine-tune their strengths. Honesty, integrity and character are the fundamental elements that propel me into each nuance of the business. I look for those same traits before establishing a new client relationship. What I guarantee is that I will negotiate on your behalf to reach more people for less. Each advertising venue has intrinsic values that need to be quantified and qualified be it radio, newspaper, magazine, billboard, social media, phone book or television. I stated earlier I only work with advertisers that share my sense of values. In the event I am not taking on new clients, I will offer suggestions that will illuminate and educate. Gorilla mktg works primarily with business owners by referral.
