Finally recovered from a truly BOSS DYNAMITE WEEKENDER in Oslo last weekend 🔥 Big thank you to Rudie Sounds I am eternally grateful for the amazing invite and opportunity to play alongside these guys. Finally getting my voice back after an amazing weekender in the beautiful city of Bristol. What an honor it was to join DJs I’ve known about for ages, getting to see and hear them in action was a real treat. Top selections Friday from Simon Cobb (Work your Soul/Luton), Ritxard RGS (Reggae Beat weekender, San Sebastián), Tobi The Rhythm Ruler (Reggae Rumble/Berlin) and Cello from Coast to Coast London. Sharing the stage on Saturday was a dream with Originals: Simon Tipper (Hidden Treasures, Birmingham UK), The Musical Teacher Asher G the Rocksteady Daddy (Caribbean Memories/London) and of course top tunes from our hosts Alex and Alannagh Sloggett (Fun it Up/Bristol) who wore many hats throughout the weekend including Dj, host, organizers. I am eternally grateful to these sweet souls for including me in this weekender which I’ll never forget. Big ups to all the people who traveled from all over, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Mexico, Oslo, Belgium, Barcelona, Italy, Wales, London and Bristol and all over the UK, Los Angeles and of course my hometown crew that came out to support me from The San Francisco Bay Area ❤️ and many other places. If this past weekend is any indication of what reggae things are to come in Bristol I’d say that the future for Reggae there looks extremely bright. I hope everyone that came to this weekender made it back to wherever you traveled from safely. So glad to have reconnected with old friends and make new ones. Thank you so much Alex & Alannagh for all that you have done.
