LovelyOcean is a Black, q***r rapper from Monrovia, CA in the San Gabriel Valley. LovelyOcean brings back a classic Hip-Hop sound and adds her own personality to it, which has a very chill, flowy vibe. She is the 2021 Wavy Awards winner for the New Artist of the Year and has been featured in numerous articles and interviews.

We’re so honored to submit her music to the conference and continue uplifting unique, independent artists 🌊

It's Women's Appreciation Wednesday, and it's also Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
I want to shed light lastly on Diahann Carroll. You might recognize her for her numerous stage and screen nominations. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1997 and cleared the illness with radiation therapy and surgery. After becoming a survivor of breast cancer she started advocating for early detection and screening. We love to see women standing up to cancer and advocating for early screening. Although Diahann Carroll may not be with us right now she continues to have a major impact in Hollywood. Thank you🩷

It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I want to share Suzanne Somers, who died last week. She is known as an American actress, author, businesswoman, and advocate for Health and Wellness. In the early 2000s, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and was undergoing treatment. She later was diagnosed with several other forms of cancer throughout her life. She died from breast cancer and was one day shy of her 77th birthday. Let us send prayers to her friends and family.🕊️

The second woman I want to shed light on is Wanda Sykes. You might know her as a comedian. She discovered she had cancer when she had undergone breast reduction and was caught at stage zero. She then proceeded to remove both breasts so she wouldn't have any chance of getting breast cancer. She also has a lot of breast history cancer on her mother's side. Remember to check your breasts on a regular basis, and for more information, check cancer.org.
