It is no secret that a large portion of the seafood industry is more geared around tourism on the Gulf Coast. People travel from all over the United States to experience freshly caught and prepared seafood. Surprisingly a lot of what American's consume in restaurants as far as seafood goes is all too often transplanted from different parts of the world.

To capture that fresh catch can be illusive. This is where Coastal Cuisine Magazine can be of assistance. We've dedicated ourselves to the task of finding and sharing what seems to have become a rarity in a fast paced global seafood economy. It helps too being located on the coast too. It's a lifestyle! It was an overcast day on the harbor in Pensacola. We found a table outside after a long and slow stroll down Palafox St. The Chicken Scalliopini was flavorful with tenderly sauteed chicken, asparagus, and Oyster Mushrooms on a bed of mashed potatoes topped with lemon Beurre blanc sauce. I had the traditional burger and fries which was cooked to medium perfection. A great place to view the activity on the harbor docks, and we received excellent service from the friendly staff.
