The Fort Payne Middle School Robotics Team won the First Lego League Robotics State Championship in Huntsville on February 1st. They were invited to represent Alabama at the World Festival in Houston, TX on April 16th-19th. The team members were:

Beason’s Gap is now open but it will be closed again at 8:30 A.M. Friday morning for repairs. The City of Fort Payne will update tomorrow once repairs are completed .

According to the City of Fort Payne, Beason’s Gap will be closed untill further notice to remove storm damage debris. The City will post when it’s reopened.

The event will be held from 4-6 pm at Henagar Junior High School. Come out and see which school and community resources could benefit your family, or learn how to support these efforts.

Make plans to attend and learn more about what our schools and partnering agencies have to offer!
