About the studio
My name is Adam Rowe. I own and operate PigBall Studios in Gray, ME. I started off recording my own bands as a teen and shortly thereafter, I moved on to record others . I continue to add to my recording abilities through practice, schooling, internships, and countless hours of more practice and research. I graduated from New England School of Communications with a degree in Audio Engineering in 2012 (with high honors #humblebrag). I interned in Chicago at Studio Chicago, which is now IV Labs. I then moved on to intern at the largest recording studio in the midwest, Chicago Recording Company.
Thanks to the support of my wonderful wife and the trust of bands near me, I have been climbing towards the goal of working closely with bands and providing higher quality sound that even small artists deserve. I started off by lugging around my bulky gear to bands’ and artists’s homes and practice spaces. I now run the PigBall Studios facility outside of my home in Gray, ME.
Located in the town of Gray in the woods of Maine, surrounded by farms and serenity. PigBall Studios offers the space and budget to achieve big, quality sounds on a smaller, local-level budget. Send me a message and lets get to collaborating!
