Gerald is a father of one son who was put into foster care when he divorced his wife but he still maintained a relationship with his child by fishing frequently.

What happened: Gerald was last seen cashing a check at Penn Mart Shopping Center.

Nathan suffered from severe depression in what seems to be an environment that lead to many argument.

On March 20, 2003 Nathan fled his family home due to getting into multiple arguments with his father that day. Nathan had been communicating with a girl in California at that time. His mother reported him missing 5 weeks later.

Delaware Memorial Bridge Disappearance of 2003 🕊️💙

William Thomas Purcell III, 38yo male.
Date of birth: 10/18/1964
Height: 5’8
Weight: 165lbs
Hair: Brown (receding hairline)
Eyes: Brown
Scar: gun shot wound on right leg
Tat: skull/snake on right bicep and Harley Davidson wing logo on left bicep.
Worked: Eagles Stairs & Rails as as apprentice painter.

William loved painting, he was a terrific artist. He also enjoyed bike riding.

William was suffering from depression but it was unknown if he was receiving treatment.

What happened: On October 12-13, 2003 (exact day is unknown report says 13 and obituary says 12) 3 witnesses called in that they saw a man matching Williams description jumping off the Delaware Memorial Bridge.

I’d like to add this is so heartbreaking that he thought this was his only option only days before his 39th birthday. 😭

Nicknames include: Gene, Geno, Don & Tad.
Last contact with family: April 1, 2005
Reported missing: April 23, 2005
Height: 6’1
Weight: 140-160lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Scars: 1 inch corner of his eye.
Clothing: unknown but is known to wear polo shirts and jeans.
Features: Fingers are larger and more curved than a normal person, ear was pierced but hasn’t wore in years so likely closed and fractured collarbone 1985-1990 in a car accident.
Medical conditions: Horizontal hystagmus: uncontrollable rapid eye movement.
Locations known to be: Other than Wilmington he is known to travel to Jacksonville & Lakeland FL. Both areas were checked with no sign of him.

St. Georges Bridge Disappearance 🕊️💙

George Harris, 57yo male.
Height: 6’1
Weight: 180lbs
Hair: balding, full beard trimmed with a little gray.
Scar: small on right knee
Clothing: jeans and a long sleeve polo shirt dark in color.
Footwear: boots

On January 6, 2006 Delaware State Police received a call of a guy matching that description who had just jumped 133ft into the Chesapeake Delaware Canal. Later to find out it was George Harris who parked his car at the crest of the bridge, climbed over the safety railing and jumped. Inside his car was his wallet with his ID and registration card that confirmed who he was. His cane that he needed for walking was also located inside the car.

Delaware State Police, United States Coast Guard and Delaware City Fire Department all search with no success on finding him.

Ship Pilot Disappearance of 2007 🕊️💙

Lynn Sherwood Deibert, 52yo male.

About Lynn:
Lynn was divorced with 2 children from Virginia Beach, Virginia. He had been a Federal Ship Pilot for 30 years for the Chesapeake Federal Pilot Association.

What happened:
On February 4, 2007 at 11:30pm in Lewes, DE off the coast, Lynn was 1/3 to 1/2 up on the ladder of the 645ft freighter when he suddenly paused. He then let go off the ladder and stepped back which resulted in him falling into the water onto his back. The crew hurried and threw 3 life rings into the water with no success, Lynn was gone.

Search and rescue efforts were made again with no success.

My goal is to reach all of Delaware to show families not everyone gives up on their loved ones. I don’t post for me, I post for the families crying everyday because they don’t got answers, I post for the children/grandchildren/ nieces/nephews/cousins who never got to meet their loved one. I want everyone to never feel like their family member forgotten ever.

Missing Wyoming Person of 2007 🕊️💙

Paul Worsham, 82yo male.
Last location: home (Papan Farm on Wyoming Mill Rd, Wyoming, DE)

About Paul:

Paul was a Merchant Marine who retired then became a Delaware State Correctional Officer. He was the father of one child. He was suffering from dementia at the time of his disappearance. Paul won first place for a painting he entered into the Delaware State Fair and he absolutely enjoyed painting along with taking his daily walks.

Description:
Height: 5’10
Weight: 185lbs
Hair: Gray/Partially Gray
Eyes: Green
Scars: 4” curved-linear on top of his head due to falling from a tree, thorax scar and right cheek scar near glasses line.
Tattoos: monochromatic tattoos; upper right arm (banner with the name Audrey), upper left arm (unknown), left forearm (Ace of Space), large unknown ship across his chest (served as a Merchant Marine) and left calf (Nautical Style Compass).
Clothing: Denim jacket, pink sweater, camouflage pants and an orange hat.
Accessories: black leather wallet, belt buckle (small squares) and a cane.
Eyewear: glasses
Jewelry: gold wedding band, times elastic band and a dog tag with his name on it.

What happened:

On July 23,2007 at 3pm Paul left his home to go hunting in the woods on the property with his shotgun at tow.

7pm- Paul still had not returned so family got worried went searching for him and did not find him.

July 24, 2007 in the early morning the family made a police report. Police search all over the land with no signs of Paul. They even searched Wyoming Pond at the south of the property.

No one has heard from him since and there is a worry for his safety due to dementia.

Missing person case turned into a mystery 🕊️💙

Gregory R. Forte, 29yo male.

Gregory also known as “Greg” loved soccer, he played it since he was really young, all through high school and college while planning games in his free time. He got his masters degree at Mount St. Mary College in Emmitburg, MD and he was starting his new teaching position at Indian River High the following week.

On February 9,2010 at 11:30pm Greg left a party at his friends condo in Fenwick Island, Delaware. People at the party stated Greg was not wearing shoes and didn’t say anything to them when he left. During this time it was blizzard conditions outside, high winds with rain snow sleet mix.

On February 10,2010 Greg’s family became worried due to him not answering his phone and not returning home so they headed to Fenwick Island where he was last seen. When they arrived they found his jeep door open and radio still playing with keys in the ignition. In the jeep were Greg’s cellphone (wet), sweatshirt (wet) and his glasses.

They began searching for Greg immediately. Police gathered with 100s of family and friends to form a search party, used K-9s, used the helicopter and searched for days. No luck of finding Greg. Besides his hat found on a dune entering the beach.

April 11, 2010 a pair of his shoes and his jacket were found on the beach.

April 28, 2010 at 2pm skeleton remains were found near N. Division St in South Ocean City, Maryland. They canvassed the beach into the next day finding even more bones. These were confirmed to be Greg Forte.

They did try to find and question one guy who was at a Shore Stop in Bethany Beach on February 10th at 4am claiming to have broke down in Fenwick Island, and was returning from Walmart. But no updates have came of this.
