Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His leadership during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s helped to bring about the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s actions, speeches and writings still resonate and inspire today.
