one! John’s letter to Gaius in 3 John awakened something in Fred Willis. After inductive studies of the passage, Fred sought to not only create music that blessed listeners, but to share it also. Fred is a world traveled musician, his last stop was in Japan in December 2012. As a minister of music, Fred reaches out to congregations all over the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex in addition to his travels overseas and throughout the country with various artists. At SoulProsper Radio, Fred represents a growing sector of gospel music lovers who just aren’t satisfied with gospel music radio. SoulProsper Radio has answered the call to provide great music from great artists as well as some of the country’s greatest preachers and teachers of the word, all in one hour! As a minister of the gospel, it is truly Fred’s desire to see believers prosper. As John stated to Gaius, he wished that prosperity reigned in all facets of his life. Fred’s ministry echoes that sentiment. Whether preaching in the pulpit, ministering vocally, musically or behind the mic on his show he is on a mission to bring understand and abundance of soul prosperity to all who will hear him. Vocationally Fred is a certified Sound Engineer and musician. A graduate of Cedar Valley College in Lancaster, Texas, member of Phi Theta Kappa (honor society), and recognized as Who’s Who in America Colleges and Universities (2010, 2011). Fred is a member of the National Association of Christian Ministers and is also a member of the National Association of Digital Broadcasters. Can we tell you about another amazing broadcaster we’re proud to have on our station? is that dude. When heard him on KHVN, he couldn’t wait to meet him and to his surprise, Big C was approachable and welcoming.

When presented with the opportunity, he graciously shared his show with and later added the Prayze Cafe to our lineup. We can’t say enough about Big C and sometimes we don’t see enough said about him.

Get Out to Vote EARLY tomorrow at Friendship West! You like us saw Pastor Haynes’ fiery response to the black church being called out, well, he’s not done yet! Voters in can vote at the church from NOON to 6 PM.

Here’s the news from the church:

Friendship-West Baptist Church will host a Get Out to Vote & Vax Community Block Party that is designed to encourage church and community members to engage in the civic process by participating in early voting and solidifying their voting plan before Election Day. In addition, nonpartisan voter engagement materials, free flu shots, COVID vaccinations, and the newly approved COVID variant booster shots will also be available. The event is and open to the community.

Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, academic, author, and radio host will hold a book signing for his newly released book, “Represent: The Unfinished Fight For The Vote” onsite during the Vote & Vax Block Party.

Community members of all ages are invited to attend this event on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. which includes food, snowballs, snacks, baked treats, a lemonade stand, face painting, balloon artists, a DJ, raffles, free swag giveaways, and multiple bounce houses and inflatable obstacle course. All activities are available to the public at no cost.

Early Voting will also be available on campus from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

Partners for this event include United to Save Democracy, the Conference of National Black Churches, The Office of State Representative Yvonne Davis- District 111, The Office of Commissioner John Wiley Price-District 3, Dallas County Health and Human Services, and Black Voters Matter.

This election cycle is probably worse than 2016. The madness has seeped into the church and it's as ugly inside as it is outside. When one evangelical leader took it upon himself to "call out" a Presiding Bishop J. Drew Sheard a major leader in "the black church" and leader of the Church Of God In Christ, Inc."we" took issue with it!

Scripture tells us that in Christ, there is neither Jew nor Greek and in the US, there is neither white nor black. However, there would be no "black" church had the "white" church not kept their doors closed to Africans and, later, African-Americans.

Furthermore, evangelicals have yet to take unite their cause with those their Black brothers and sisters in the faith care so much about. Hence, the divide continues, though it shouldn't! Until we get this resolve, Pastor Donnie Swaggart and those like him should keep the Black church out of their mouths!

Too many politicians are saying good, agreeable things and doing the opposite. They’ve even voted against these policies when they had the chance. Don’t you deserve better? Jasmine Crockett believes so and we agree! During a recent stop in Dallas, we asked her about bipartisan agreement and why it doesn’t always translate to political action. We typically try to leave political choices to each of you to decide on your own but this time around, we can’t be silent and for sure, we WON’T be going back!

Grammy-winning gospel singer-songwriter is set to bring a new sound to the holiday season with the release of his first-ever Christmas EP, Red & Green, out November 22 via Life Room Label/Capitol Christian Music Group / Motown Gospel. Featuring an eclectic blend of original songs, Red & Green is the perfect soundtrack for any festive celebration or a cozy night at home by the fire. Known for his signature voice and heartfelt lyrics, McReynolds brings his take to Christmas music with a body of work that is entirely his own—no holiday covers, just fresh, uplifting tracks that capture the spirit of the season.

“Christmas comes at the end of the year.
