One of the highlights from last season was shooting at the Crown Plaza/historic Union Station in Indianapolis for Haley and David’s wedding. Most wedding films contain little to no footage of the actual wedding ceremony itself. Yes or yes? I hardly ever approach an edit the same way. When you edit 50-60 of these per year, it helps (me at least 🤷‍♂️) to dive into each edit a little differently. With this particular film for Christiana & Ralph, I decided to start with everything BUT the ceremony footage and quickly realized - “I’m running out of room here!” I also typically always know where I’m going to put the kiss shot, so a lot of times I’ll start with that, then work around it - either forward or backwards.
