We are a couple who decided to combine their talents to create F&J Productions. Freddy Hernandez had been a freelance photographer while Jocelyne Pruna had been a journalist. They both have more than a decade of experience in photography and videography. They enjoy working together and have a lot of fun doing what they love.

This year we set out to share a bit our knowledge of photography and video with our followers. The responses to our first two videos on YouTube was great. More specifically the feedback that we got is that a lot of our viewers did not know about photography/video or where to start.
We will keep making videos to educate beginners and more advanced viewers that want to keep learning. One of the questions that popped up a lot was, "where should I start, what camera do you recommend?"
You can literally start with whatever you have, even you phone. But if you're looking to make the leap from a phone to intro camera, here is our suggestion:
Sony Alpha A600:
After much research, the Sony A6000 is the perfect camera to get started in photography and video. The quality of the photos and video is great and most importantly, it wont break the bank. This camera is also a mirrorless camera and that is a big help to beginners.
