Welcome Chevy Chevalier - he’s your new weekday morning meteorologist, but you’ll start seeing him on the evenings too until gets back!

You guys, he’s awesome! He has a very impressive meteorological background that includes forecasting in the Air Force, with the and most recently forecasting for a TV station in Hawaii! I’m really excited for you guys to “meet” him, I believe he’ll make his debut tomorrow night at 10 🤗

Confirmed… Three people were shot around 10:20 PM at the Stone Canyon Apartments on Murray. One died at the scene, another died on the way to the hospital, and a third person‘s injuries were not life-threatening.

Our first SEVERE TSTORM WARNING of the night! This storm is in southeastern Colorado and is moving to the northeast at 25MPH from Baca Co. into Bent Co. -- 60MPH gusts and quarter size hail are the primary threats!

It's one of the largest cargo jets in the world, and you can BARELY hear it passing. Seriously! This C-17 demonstration crew from Charlotte flew over the U.S. Air Force Academy today to perform a few maneuvers and maybe even inspire a few pilots. :)

Ok, this is cool. I’ve been a commercial drone pilot for a while, and I’ve helped quite a few people learn to fly, buy a drone, study for the Part 107 test, interpret the rules, etc. This new app from DJI is by far the most realistic training app out there. The controls are all the same, so you really get a nice test experience. If you’re thinking about a drone, or need some practice, check it out. It’s free.

So it turns out that the special "eclipse camera lens cover" that came with our pack of eclipse glasses from Amazon was useless. BUT... putting the sunglasses over the lens actually worked ok. Here's a still frame from around 12:40pm.
