✏️Butler County Schools students who attend the Back to School Bash can sign up for free school supplies at their school FRC or YSC booth.
✏️Each student registered for the 2024-2025 school year is eligible to receive FREE school supplies from BC FRYSC. School supplies will be provided on the first day of school!
✏️The Morgantown Mission will be providing a free meal.
✏️The City of Morgantown City Park Pool will be open for FREE Swimming from 6:00 - 8:00
✏️Churches, Businesses, and Community Organizations will be set up and distributing lots of school supplies, information, and treats!!
✏️This is a huge event and the result of our community working together. If you are interested in setting up or need more information please reach out to us! We are always happy to help. Thank you so much!!
Stop by IGA today 10am-2pm drop off supplies and/ buy a “bus” to help purchase supplies for Butler County Students! All proceeds stay in Butler County!

Morgantown Bank & Trust is currently seeking part-time teller applicants for its Morgantown and Bowling Green markets. Positions available in both markets are part-time, 10 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and part-time flex, with fluctuating full-days working an average of 3 days per week.
✨ Duties include accepting deposits, cashing checks, processing loan payments, managing a cash drawer and performing routine branch and customer service duties.
✨ Qualifications include previous cash handling experience, the ability to pay close attention to detail in a busy work environment, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to operate a computer system.
The deadline to apply is Thursday, July 25, 2024. Please note on the application your preference of part-time 10-2 or part-time flex as well as location.

The Butler County Conservation District will be taking applications for a DISTRICT ADMINISTRATOR position. Duties include, but not limited to, providing the day-to-day coordination and direction of district activities, recordkeeping, providing technical assistance to landowners, etc..
Information packets and applications will be available until a suitable candidate is hired.
Packets can be picked up at the Butler County Conservation District office at 216 West Ohio St. suite C Morgantown, Ky 42261 from 8 AM to 4:30 PM and can be returned at the office or dropped off in the lockbox outside the door.
Free Sports Physicals today!
Attention Middle School and High School Athletes!
Butler County Family Care will be offering FREE Sports Physicals at our clinic on July 13th & July 27th from 9 AM - 2 PM.
Spread the word and we we hope to see you there!
Starting in the fall of 2025, BCHS will only allow drawstring/pullstring backpacks to combat an increase in backpacks with hidden compartments. This gives everyone a full year to prepare or gift your student with a pullstring bag. Our Youth Service Center will also be able to help if needed.

- July 3rd and 4th, 10 AM to midnight
- December 31st, 10 AM to January 1st, midnight
🚫 No fireworks within 200 feet of structures, vehicles, or people.
