An excerpt from a documentary I recently created in collaboration with MoCA CT: New Haven-based designer Tom Strong details the origin of the “world format” pioneered by swiss poster designers.
The full doc is screening now at MoCA CT in Westfield! Stop by and check out the installation of beautiful Swiss posters selected from Tom’s massive collection.
This summer Gardner Reed and I went to the MFA to capture a beautiful performance of Walter Robinson's gospel folk opera "Look What a Wonder"
Honored to capture the union of two people I truly love. Congrats Brenda and Billy :)
Everything shot on my old Sony a6500 with a 35mm prime.
Champion of the Charles Gala
Champion of the Charles Gala coverage for the Charles River Watershed Association.
The awesome people over at CRWA do great work advocating for greener and healthier cities in Massachusetts. 👏
Some scenes from a documentary about Carbon capture technologies. Thanks to Duncan at Possible Studio who brought me on to run camera and sound. We shot 17 interviews + plenty of Broll across two days in NYC and got to capture the creation of carbon friendly concrete blocks!
Freedom to Read
Recently, I had the opportunity to work with Class Action Collective, a graphic design collective working for social change, on a project called "Freedom to Read" with New Haven Public Schools to raise awareness about the growing issue of book bans and lack of funding for libraries, both locally and nationally.
This was one of my favorite projects of the year because of how close to home this cause is for me, as both my mom and many friends are librarians and educators. It was an honor to witness these students and teachers calling for their freedom to read in the streets of New Haven.
Thank you to Evyn Gregorio at A Candy Sto for rocking the Gimble and to Julia Hopkins for always finessing graphics.
