This online video marketing piece during Covid lockdown, and it has now been released after awaitng some website renovations by the client.

The team at Standards for Excellence (a client with whom Pro Video Promos has had the pleasure to work with a lot) were following Covid protocols that prevented any in-person video recording. So we conducted all the interviews you see in this video using the interviewees' own smartphones and then connecting with them via Facetime on another phone. It all worked out pretty well, don't you think?

I don’t know how it happened. But this Gray Tree frog was in my toilet. It must have jumped on my shorts while I was walking in our wooded patch and then jumped off. It was hiding along the side of the toilet above the water line, clinging to the side and had hung on despite several flushes. I finally spotted it and got it it back to the woods.

Maryland may not be considered part of the "Deep South." Still, the legacy of segregation stains our "border" state's history.

This 20+ minute documentary, that I had the privilege and honor to make with the team at the Havre de Grace Colored School Museum & Cultural Center, shows how a beloved physician, George T. Stansbury, M.D., helped his community endure and thrive amdist both the small and large indignities and injustices of the Jim Crow era.

I am fortunate to have worked on many relevant and impactful video projects thorughout my career. But few have affected me personally as much as this project. I humbly urge you to take a break and watch it all the way through. Indeed, to fully understand the present, one should always study the past.

Sometimes a 15-sec. online promo using a client's existing visuals along with a catchy editing presentation is all that's needed to get an effective message across. This will be regionally distributed as a lead-in ad on various online platforms such as YouTube. That's why it had to be 15-sec exact.
