Pro tip: Leaf blowers are the best way to clean up confetti.

Bonus: You'll find small bits of beer soaked confetti on the bottom of your gear for at least 2 years after regardless of how thorough you are with your cleanup.

The Day One DJ Story

Day One DJ is a wedding and private event DJ business that operates out of Hudson, WI (Western, WI & Minneapolis / St. Paul, MN Metro area), and Phoenix / Scottsdale, AZ. Joe Osterberg started Day One DJ with the mission of creating the best weddings ever. His background as a musician and entertainer has led to a multi-faceted set of skills that lend themselves perfectly to creating a worry-free and high energy experience for you and your guests.

This mission, eventually dovetailed into finding other talented performers, musicians, and entertainers who share the same passion and vision. We’re a small business, and focus on quality over quantity. Instead of having 100 DJs, we’d rather have the top 10. Our two biggest goals for your event are to pack up the dance floor and make sure you don’t have to worry about anything. You’ll be too busy celebrating, and that’s the way it should be. It’s a party, and we want to make sure that party happens. A great DJ is an event better MC. We’ll keep the timeline on track and work with the inevitable fluidity of how a wedding works the night of vs. how it works on paper. Great weddings are created when everything flows smoothly. By being the voice of your wedding, we’ll keep things flowing and establish a rapport with your guests that will make them excited to join us on the dance floor to help create as many memories as possible for you.
