Do you send cards? 📝

There are many ways we can connect with others. We text, DM, call, video chat, and meet in person, but there is something magical about sending a card.

👉 Selecting a card takes time. It takes time to scan the racks of cards to find the perfect one that fits the occasion and expresses exactly what you would say.

👉 A card includes a small investment. While cards aren't free, their value surpasses their cost. Prices may range from .50 cents to $20.00 and don't forget the postage, but the joy they bring is well worth it.

👉 A card is tangible. Whether mailed or handed over personally, the moment a card is received, we notice its color, feel its texture, and appreciate its thoughtful design before we even read a word. It's no surprise that many people cherish and reread cards countless times.

👉 The best cards are personal. The sentiment printed on the card may say exactly what you would love to say but resist the urge to merely sign your name. A few heartfelt lines will elevate your card from ordinary to extraordinary.

What an interesting day! I was asked to teach the “2 Johnnies” from Ireland dining skills for their TV show this fall. They were so much fun! I hope I make Texas proud! Until yesterday I had never heard of them. I guess they have a huge following. Over 2M followers. Who knew? 🤷‍♀️ They invited me to visit them in Ireland and learn pub etiquette. That would be fun! I always love to learn new skills. 😜

Special thanks to Kirby’s in Southlake for opening just for us. If you’ve never eaten there you must check them out. Great food and great service.

Clothing is a powerful communication tool. If you haven't purged your wardrobe lately it may be time to evaluate what's hanging in your closet.

Here are 5 questions to ask yourself.

1. Do you love it?
Don't love it, get rid of it!

2. Is it flattering?
Does the color and style make you look and feel fabulous?

3. Does it fit well?
If not, get it tailored or get it out of your closet.

4. Do you wear it?
Good rule - If you haven’t worn it in two years it most likely doesn’t serve you.

5. Does it convey who you are today?
Jobs and lifestyles change and your clothes need to keep pace.
