Eco Ark Entertainment is a new, state-of-the-art, woman-owned and operated, independent multi-media production company and creative writing boutique and 'co-op' comprised of a small but powerful team of highly motivated independent freelance professionals and an associated consortium of world class writers, producers and directors with the shared goal of developing and producing inspiring, original, meaningful, high-quality content for television, film, the internet & other streaming media. Our Hope for the Future:
To work collaboratively with our like-minded creative professionals and small independent studios to create truly imaginative, super cool, deep, meaningful, family and Earth friendly, seriously inspiring, enlightening, eco-conscious quality entertainment that serves the greater good by producing projects that are enlightening and inspiring and by giving back to help people and the planet by creating profits with purpose. Our goal is to develop an ongoing slate of scripted and non-scripted TV/film and the internet creating captivating new streaming content, webisodes, high quality short films and feature films with a special focus on animation that truly educate, entertain and inspire while blending films with philanthropy. Our motto is to make movies that matter and create profits with purpose. Yes, we are idealistic but our altruistic goals are part of what sets us apart from so many other studios whose only objective is to crank out mundane fluff that drives parents crazy and sends kids into an allowance-draining buying-frenzy like a wild boar on a sugar rush. (Yes, we are talking about films like Frozen and Finding Dory, to name just a few.) It seems like every other day, one of the major studios is putting out yet another animated movie and while we really can’t blame them (since almost every single one of them will make a small ocean of money) it does often seem that the producer’s only objective is to bait and hook and then once they’ve raked in the dough, do nothing more other than purchase a new Mercedes and a gold plated toilet seat. While we certainly don’t blame those high-minded studio execs for wanting to make a bunch of money, we believe there is an ethical obligation to use the medium of film to create meaningful content and profits with purpose and in so doing, give back to society to help others in need. Our company's ultimate goal and mantra will be to make movies that move the world and to do our part to try to make the world a better, brighter and more peaceful and healthful place for all creatures great and small and to do so by giving away a part of all our future profits to deserving partner charities and helping children and families in need as well as promoting and donating to national and global conservation organizations on the forefront in the effort to save vanishing wildlife and their habitats and to do our part to inspire people to take action to address the climate change crisis and help in big ways and small to protect endangered species. So with that noble goal in mind, we are soldiering on with our own plans to 'build back better', to reboot and update some of our older projects, dust them off and give them a fresh new look, and restart some of those that were derailed due to the pandemic and to build on a new hope and new vision to create Ohio’s first-ever eco-conscious entertainment empire!
