HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE BLOOMFIELD!

He was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2012 and, as a member of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015. He is known for his work as guitarist with The Butterfield Blues Band (1965–1967) founding The Electric Flag (1967–1968) his work with Al Kooper, including Super Session (1968) and a string of solo projects collaborating with Mark Naftalin, Nick Gravenites and Barry Goldberg.
