Exciting news from the Pink Boots Society: Boston Chapter and congratulations to new Boston Chapter President Meghan Sullivan.
Plaudits as well to the outgoing exec Becca Carpenter, whose enthusiastic and skillful stewardship the past few years inspired a period of organizational growth, expanded educational and professional development opportunities, all of which ultimately benefit our entire industry, not just chapter members. Meghan has some big boots to fill!
Introducing your new Pink Boots Society Boston Chapter President!!
Join me in congratulating Meghan Sullivan on her new role. 🍻
From your new President:
Hello!
For those of you I have not met yet, my name is Meghan Sullivan, and I have been proudly a part of the craft beer industry and Pink Boots Boston for over four years.
My journey started at Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company as their Event Coordinator, where I realized craft beer was my passion. Watching people be baffled by a woman’s interest in the fermented beverage industry fueled my fire, which led me to do everything I could to change that narrative. My goal was to make this industry one where we can ALL take up space regardless of how we identify and present ourselves.
Currently, I work at Kevin York Communications, the leading public relations agency for craft beverage producers. I specialize in strategic communications and public relations, helping breweries from all over the country share their stories and reach new audiences. In my free time, you can find me bartending at Coastal Mass Brewing on the weekends, dungeon dwelling in Baldur’s Gate 3, or walking around the city looking for the next best restaurant/brewery.
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to step into the Chapter President position where I will continue to help our chapter grow, and share the stories of all the women and non-binary individuals who make the fermented beverage industry what it is today.
Thank you 🍻
