Thanks for taking the time to stop by MJ Vinyl & Designs! I am thrilled that you are here to take a peek at what we are all about. Let me tell you a little bit about what we do!

My grandfather owned a sign company for many many years. He was a man of very artistic talent! He did everything by hand, literally everything. From drawing the sketches, to painting, to cutting the vinyl by hand. . . He did it ALL! I used to visit him at work frequently when I was a kid and loved to watch him at work. One thing I loved watching him do was to peel the vinyl for the signs that he was making. But my favorite thing was when he would let me peel the vinyl! There was just something about peeling the vinyl away and watching this amazing design appear, with crisp lines and intricate details. No matter how old I got if Papa was peeling vinyl when I went to visit you can bet I was getting in on that!

I have absolutely no artistic talent when it comes to drawing. I’m talking this girl can barely draw a recognizable stick figure! So one day I decided to invest in a vinyl plotter and some graphic design software and see what I could do. I remember when I made my very first design, sent it to the plotter to cut and that moment when I peeled the vinyl for my very first decal. It took me right back to that happy place as a child, brought back memories of my grandfather and family and most of all. . . It made my heart happy! That my friends is pretty much how this adventure started and MJ Vinyl & Design was created.

Over time I have discovered that I not only have a love for working with vinyl but also with creating in general. I love vinyl, paint, learning new techniques and of course glitter! I mean really what girl doesn’t love glitter. So today I not only offer decals but many other unique items. All of our items can also be personalized and we offer custom orders.
