A message asking for support for a community effort that I, Stew, support:

Good Morning to all
..I just wanted to let you know that are 501c3 non profit organization Soul Arts Collective is accepting end of the year $$ donations to serve our needy veterans and homeless population every Wednesday at noontime providing hot and cold meals, canned foods and snacks for throughout the week, winter clothes such as thick socks, gloves, knit scarves, coats, tennis shoes, boots and blankets. Your monetary donation or items for our homeless initiative will be greatly appreciated not only by the volunteers but mainly the recipients of our efforts.

Feel free to stop by prior to lunchtime on Wednesday to drop-off your donation or call/text me to arrange a pickup. A receipt will be given to you as your donation is tax deductible.

Today’s Word – "Magnify The Lord!"

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. – Psalm 34:3, KJV.

TODAY’S WORD:
Something powerful happens inside when you magnify the Lord. What does it mean to magnify the Lord? When you magnify Him, you aren’t changing Him; you are changing the way you see Him. You are making Him bigger in your life than your problems and circumstances.

So many people today waste time and energy talking about their problems and feeling sorry for themselves. That’s because they are magnifying their circumstances in their own mind and heart. But when you start magnifying the Lord by talking about Him and worshiping Him, you are making Him the main priority in your life and opening the door for Him to move on your behalf.

Today, decide that no matter what’s going on in life around you, you are going to magnify your God. Talk about His goodness. Talk about His faithfulness. Declare that He is working behind the scenes on your behalf. Exalt His name today and lift Him up and see His hand of blessing in every area of your life!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Just relaxing is it for me my friends. God is so good that He has allowed for me (and you) to chill out, even when the Devil is trying to bring some heat. My coolness shall eliminate the Devil's heat ANY DAY!! Come on somebody.

I was just blessed beyond measure by a lady who stopped me as I was coming out of Target Store, saying, "Excuse me Sir. Are you from the radio station?

My reply: "yea, depending on what station talking about."

She: "... the gospel station?"

Me: yes ma'am, thats me...

Now this blesses me because she obviously listen to the broadcast alot if she can recognize my voice as I am cracking jokes in the store with my couisn.

To God be the Glory for being in your ear for what God would have you to hear...

As of 15 March, it is OFFICIAL: My daughter, Ladwidia, a granddaughter to someone here; or your Niece to some here; or Cousin to some here, has been selected by a board of Senior Air Force officials for selection from her current E7 Rank to E8. To put that in propertive there were over 20,000 eligible across the entire Air Froce, only about 1,100 were selected, and she was one of them! (Hope I got the numbers correct). Awesome accomplishment Sweet! (my nickname for LaDwidia).

In this collage of pics, her Unit leadership had an official announcement type of celebration. My daughter is in these pics with her fam: my son-in-law, my two grandsons (in white T-shirts), and my granddaughters (in black shirts).

Congratulations to you Sweet. May God continue to bless you as you continue to do for others "as unto the Lord."

We all have areas in which we still struggle and need to improve, but being down on ourselves will not make the situation better. God is the Potter, we are the clay, it is he who does the molding. Now, it may not be happening as fast as we would like, but we don't control the timetable. Remember: The Potter doesn't throw the clay away because it has flaws, he continues to work out the flaws so that the clay can become the masterpiece in which He intended it to be.
"Be patient my brother's and sister's and don't give up for God is not through with you yet!"
