Out With Joe Dining & Entertainment Review is a Radio & TV Segment (WCRN & NEP TV)
Aired all over New England. Out With Joe is Dining and Entertainment Review Radio Show aired throughout Eastern Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire and Northern Rhode Island and Connecticut from 2008 to 20

13. Out With Joe debuted in February of 1998 on Flagship Station WBIX AM 1060 and has aired on great stations like: WCRN AM 830, WROL AM 950 WPLM, WESO, WBNW. OWJ was the audience participation review show where the listeners can also offer suggestion, critiques and reviews of their favorite finds and hidden gems. Our host, Joe Mangiacotti has been in broadcasting for 30 years and has an extensive business background, allowing him to dine on seeming endless expense accounts. Joe was first introduce to the restaurant business at a young age (13 years old) when after washing dishes at the local eatery, The Berkeley Restaurant in Wellesley Hills. The Chef/Owner Wh**ey (Dwight Quimby), after just a couple times as dish washer asked Joe if he wanted to learn how to cook. Joe spent the next several years at the right hand of Wh**ey. Joe had begun working as a Private Detective for a local agency and eventually came to work for Stop Loss Associates in Framingham where he was introduced and trained in under cover placement and retail investigations. Joe was intrigued in the restaurant and bar mystery shopping program, posing as a customer to evaluate performance and adherence to company policy while looking for shrinkage and loss. Joe and his father began their own Detective Agency and the retail investigations, specializing in restaurant and bar spotting became the corner stone of their business. Their Detective Agency was the only member of the Massachusetts Restaurant Association at that time. This quickly made them the “go to” agency for member eateries to evaluate their employees and pinpoint loss. Skewed alcohol costs most often the reason for their inquiries. Joe is a licensed Private Detective and owns his own agency today, although he no longer performs this service, Joe visits restaurants, pubs, clubs and events for the shear enjoyment and to share his experience with others while offering a forum for the average person to share their experiences and to learn what’s hot and what’s not on the dining and entertainment landscape.
