Congratulations to Nina Smith, GoodWeave's Founding CEO, on her induction into the Child Labor Coalition Advocacy Hall of Fame! 🎉

During GoodWeave’s 30th Anniversary celebration, Sally Greenberg, Chair of the Child Labor Coalition, presented this prestigious honor to Nina in recognition of her lifetime of dedicated work to protect children and uphold their rights around the world.

Under Nina’s leadership, GoodWeave made an aspirational dream of advocates into a reality—creating a child-labor-free certification program in the carpet industry. Since its inception, over 450 businesses have joined the certification program, and the GoodWeave label has been placed on nearly 40 million carpets. Thanks to these efforts, tens of thousands of children have been freed, rehabilitated, and supported through education.

As Sally remarked: “When the Child Labor Coalition talks to reporters who want to know about solutions to child labor, our answer for 30 years has been: talk to GoodWeave.”
