IT’S DECEMBER 18th
IT’S THE BIRTHDAY OF THE GOLDEN GIRL:

It’s been these few decades plus one today, full of marvelous achievements.
Dad was out of town in search of Naira when mom went into labor.
And the young and tiny GOLDEN GIRL was born.
And she was to become a star.
As she went ahead to win the State’s National Mathematics Prize.
And she lept from the Federal Government Girls College to the greatest of them all.
And Suleja Academy for the Gifted and Talented proudly received the genius;
And the straight A’s in the National Exams testified to the arrival of the young star;
Even school sports were no exception
“Queen of The Tracks” was her spontaneous and official title;
And the Universities too, bowed their heads to the young genius,
At home and in the Americas the eagle has continued to soar;
From Boston to Phoenix to the Carolinas, the laurels have flown.
And the National Boards in professional practice have testified to the academic excellence of this GOLDEN GIRL whose birthday we today celebrate.
