Love being in under Bortle 3 skies with my star tracker! Was able to pull off my first milky way shot as it set just over the cliffside. Stars out here are INSANE compared to at home!

Short storytime moment, while in Cusco we had the pleasure to meet a guy named Ollie, who in addition to his amazing English accent, owns an incredible maps store right in Cusco .

Once we got back from our trek we had the pleasure of checking out the work him and his team were doing and we were blown away by the amount of detail and thought that is put into each of these works of art. I can't stop looking at all the detail in each of these maps!

They had maps of practically every part of the world so definitely check them out! Thanks again Ollie for hooking us up! It was a pleasure getting to meet you! 🤙

Ripping around in this bad boy had me feeling like I was right in the middle of a Mad Max movie. was TERRIFIED! The best part was ending the day with an epic dune sunset! Such a fun experience!

After hiking Machu Picchu we took a bus trip down to Paracas and got to take a boat over to see the Isles Ballestas, or the "poor mans Galapagos" as some call it. The rock formations are pretty crazy looking!

In case you were wondering, we did finally end up making it to Machu Picchu! I suppose it isn't official until you post the classic angle we all see in the textbooks and passports!

Took this picture at roughly the same time of day as this post. We were approaching Machu Picchu and got to witness the sun as it peaked over the Andes and kiss the tops of Putucusi Mountain and Huayna Picchu. I love seeing rays like this poke through the clouds but this was on another level completely!

One of the all time favorite parts of our hike had to be the day we met Bolina and got to pick fresh coffee straight from her field! She roasted it all right there at her home for us and let me tell you...it was 👌👍☕🔥😍

Snapped this photo of one of the local huts we saw along the Salkantay Trek. One thing we noticed was how welcoming and friendly all of the locals were. Everyone seemed more than willing to help each other out. It was quite refreshing, and one of the many reason we fell in love with Peru and its culture!

If there is one thing I look forward to when we travel its being able to look up and see the stars...the creation our God has made to show off his glory is beyond amazing, and I love getting lost in conversation with Him while gazing into night sky.
