2016.
Our company tagline is "going out on a limb to tell the stories that need to be told." I've always loved to be able to help organizations who are doing important but maybe overlooked work in the community to be able to share what they do more widely through video. This project for the Montgomery County Down Syndrome Interest Group of PA (MCDSIG) fit that perfectly.

2015.
In 2015, my church, The Renew Community, was looking to make a video to put on their website to help people get an idea of what we're all about. We had, and still have, a set of sayings or mantras that we used to help define the culture of our community, and so, instead of just getting the pastor to talk about the church, we had a variety of people each say a mantra or two.
A lot has changed at Renew, but a lot has stayed the same, and I still think this video paints a great picture of who we are.

2014.
I had the opportunity to work with my friend J.R. Briggs again in 2014 to create a trailer for his book, Fail. He had used an illustration in his book of the Japanese art of kintsugi that we thought would work great visually in the trailer.
My dad was able to help me out with some of the filming and we discovered that repairing broken pottery with lacquer mixed with powdered gold is pretty difficult. We ended up kind of cheating in the end, as you might notice in some of the final shots, but overall we were pretty happy with the result.

2013.
This was one of the first videos I was able to make with Fresh Expressions NA, who is still a great client to this day!
It was also one of the first projects where I felt like I was able to fulfill On a Limb Productions' mission of "going out on a limb to tell the stories that need to be told." I got to spend a snowy weekend in a little town outside Pittsburgh, being immersed in the lives of some incredible people who were doing amazing things in their community. Even 10 years later it's still one of my favorite projects.

2012.
Even though this project is from before On a Limb Productions was officially formed, it was really the one that got it all started. My friend J.R. Briggs wanted to do a video project and the internship I was on at the time let me take the project on as part of the internship.
The video ended up being posted to Christianity Today's website, and I've had a whole stream of clients I can trace back to this video.
This video holds an even more special place in my heart now that I live in Lansdale and pass by these spots almost every day.
