Sean Patrick Dahlberg is an award-winning New York filmmaker who’s worked on projects as diverse as “Sesame Street: Word on the Street”, “Nine Inch Nails: Another Version of the Truth” and “Incubus: Dig”. Sean graduated from Hofstra University in 2003 with a BA in Film Studies and Production and Psychology. Sean began his career in post-production, over twelve years ago, working on projects for Se
same Street, Doritos, Playmates Toys, Armani, Matrix/L’Oreal, DesignPac & 1-800-Baskets, Alcatel-Lucent and many, many more. In 2007, Dahlberg formed First and Last Films, bringing together a creative collective that has produced several films. Since that time, Dahlberg has expanded into music video production and live concert events, working with popular acts as Incubus, The Dresden Dolls, Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails. Sean’s latest film, until Death, had it’s World Premiere at the Long Island International Film Expo to very positive reviews. The film was Nominated for “Best Long Island Short Film” and took him the prestigious “Jury Award for Best Short Film”. Until Death will continue making the rounds in the festival circuit through 2015 and will be available online in 2016. Dahlberg’s previous film, “What Goes Around” received an Honorable Mention at the 2012 NYC Downtown Short Film Festival. In 2013, “What Goes Around” found distribution with Shorts International, an HD cable network dedicated to short films, and is now available on both iTunes and Amazon. Sean Patrick Dahlberg also co-produced, co-wrote, directed and edited the short film “Dog Days” which was created in less than 72 hours for the 2013 National Film Challenge. In 2014, Sean won two Bronze Telly Awards for digital video content for his work with L’Oreal/Matrix. For his work on “Sesame Street’s Word on the Street”, Sean won “Best Video Podcast” in 2012 from Apple’s iTunes Awards.
