We made FUN Homemade Popsicles!! Recipe⬇️⬇️⬇️

We made the yummy smoothie in our blender first then poured it into these cute popsicle molds we got from Walmart, then froze it for 1-2 hours.

Banana Blueberry Summer Popsicle Recipe:

2 frozen bananas
1 cup of frozen blueberries
1 spoonful of creamy peanut butter
2 spoonfuls of vanilla greek yogurt
1 sample packet of .ingredients vanilla bean protein powder
1-3 cups of milk(if you want it thicker, use less milk)

Mix in blender, pour in popsicle molds and place in freezer for 1-2 hours

And VIOLA, you have a yummy delicious popsicle to enjoy with your kids for the summer time!!!

I’ve been waiting to post this…I guess it takes time to process loss. 💔 My sweet friend and singing student who I have taught every week for 1 hour the last 5 years suddenly passed away from a heart attack…gone…returned home…Rich was his name…he was 75…and no doubt, he received the reward of my most improved vocal student! He LOVED singing and had such a full beautiful voice, by the end of his life he sounded like Bing Crosby…I will miss his sound filling the air…I still feel like he’s on vacation…like I’ll see him again…I just can’t believe it’s been 1 month since I saw him last.

I was asked to sing at his funeral as I was his singing teacher, so I sang to a room filled with people who loved & adored this sweet man. I sang Homeward Bound and played piano. I asked everyone to imagine him singing beside me, because in reality that’s what I felt…

There wasn’t a dry eye in that room, and by far the loudest sniffles I’ve ever heard…I think it was so special, so sacred, a beautiful loving experience that I am so grateful to have been part of. I’ve sung at many funerals in my life, but this one hit home. I’ve invested so much time, love, energy and effort into his growth and who he was becoming as a person. I know he came to me to learn, but boy did I grow from knowing and teaching him! He taught me so much about life, love, healing and living life to the fullest.

Rich was a kind, thoughtful, loving man. He loved his family so much…I wanna be like him when I grow up.

The very last lesson I had with him was on Valentines Day. After giving me Sees Candy, singing songs and finishing up his singing lesson, he said Katie bring it in. While hugging me tight He said, “I love ya Katie, I am so happy I sing with you every week, you have brought me so much joy.”…😭Gosh, I can’t even see the screen as I’m typing this 🥲… looking back in hind site, that was significant, because he didn’t normally give me hugs, telling me that he loved me…but I think God knew…tender mercies are amazing! I love the Lord! And I love that he let me teach Rich these last 5 years!

Also, thank you mom for flying out to support me! You are an angel.🤍 So much love.

On-the-spot music creation is one of my specialties and makes me so happy, I had to share! 🎉🎁💛

One day last month my sister-in-law gave me lyrics that she had been working on with her brother (aka my husband ) for her best friend Starla! We all LOVE Starla, she’s basically our family’s adopted sister! They had been working on the lyrics all day and finally by the end of the night I got to see them for the first time and created music on the spot! 💗🦋🎶

“Sisters by Heart” was born🎉I originally shared this video with McKaylyn late at night to let her share it with Starla(who cried when she first watched it🥲🩵🥰🫶)So after watching it again and again and getting the song stuck in my head and heart, I just can’t contain all this love to myself! 😄💗

These are amazing ladies!!❤️I LOVE ‘em SO MUCH!! I was in charge of our Lighthouse homeschool co-op moms retreat this past weekend and it was awesome! 🎉We hiked the beautiful mountain, we ate yummy food, had great conversations, sang our hearts out and had a lovely spa night!!

I’m so grateful we’re raising our kids and teaching them together! I wouldn’t do it any other way! Love you ladies!

5 year old Bailey said, “Mom, I’m living my best life!!” as she’s gliding on the water paddle boarding her way across the reservoir! 😂She’s right!! There’s something about being on the water, paddle boarding that makes life feel so good! Maybe it’s the gentle breeze, gliding on water or hearing the kids playing on the sandy beach. It was a fun day today! So grateful our co-op plans adventure days! I love living my best life too Bailey! ❤️Glad I get to spend it with you and all my awesome kids!! Love you all!! Hope ya’ll are living your best life too!!

Wow! Thank you WSHO! This week I received an Honorary Credential as a Certified Chaplain of Spiritual Music from the World Spiritual Health Organization.

Chaplains who graduate from this organization become board certified Chaplains who work in hospitals, and care facilities throughout the United States. Chaplains go out into the world to provide amazing care, love and healing support to all that need it.

I was amazed at the love oozing from the hearts of these beautiful souls that I had the privilege to connect with. Chaplains are a special kind of people, they’re all loving, kind and caring. I was deeply touched as I had the chance to perform for the graduating chaplains. It was an honor to connect with them in what I like to call a “songversation”.

I praise God for seeing, honoring and loving me in this award. He has heard the secret sincere prayers of my heart for others. He has seen me visit all the sick bedsides growing up. He has listened to the music from my heart to those that needed comfort and healing, visiting and uplifting…this award meant more to me than I could ever fully realize. Ya know, you never do these things to get recognized, you don’t love and care for others for the public awards, you do it for the love. These lasting connections of eternal friendships are the bond and glue that make up treasure troves in heavens, I’m certain of it! I’m so grateful to have a treasure trove of gems in heaven! I love all those I serve and it sure felt rewarding to be seen heard and loved by the creator of my soul. The heart of God is love and it was poured down upon my heart like fire! I am so so grateful!!

God has a masterful way at orchestrating our lives, to connect us with who we’re meant to connect with and he is leading us on our soul journey that is magnificent!

So thank you WSHO, it was a privilege to be recognized by your wonderful organization of beautiful people. Much love to all of you! ❤️🙏🏻
