5.3" snow here at the station (but melting pretty rapidly), but it has melted down to 0.83" of liquid! That is very dense, wet snow! From what I am gathering from reports, totals vary from 4-6.5". The highest totals that have been reported are coming out of Cass & Howard counties right now.
There is considerable melting going on with temperatures largely 33-35 right now, but moderate snow continues, though the heaviest is moving out of the area now. Periodic snow & snow showers will continue tonight & tomorrow to add to accumulations with final totals added up tomorrow evening (though the biggest chunk of accumulations have fallen today).
I am clearing off the snowboard now & will add up what else falls over the next 6 hours, then clear again & add up once more how much falls.
