Traffic Alert: Highway 25 E at Couts Car Road

A head-on collision has occurred. Two medic units, along with Cross Plains Fire and Police, are on the scene. Additional law enforcement is en route. Thankfully, neither patient appears to be in critical condition and will be transported for care.

BREAKING: Grinch Captured, Facing Federal Charges

The Greenbrier Police, in collaboration with a multi-agency task force, successfully apprehended the Grinch earlier today. He is being airlifted to a secure federal underground detention center, with his cell positioned next to Hannibal Lecter.

Authorities have outlined an extensive list of charges, including:
• Grand theft (for stealing Christmas gifts and decorations)
• Burglary and trespassing
• Vandalism
• Conspiracy to disrupt holidays
• Resisting arrest (allegedly using candy canes as weapons)
• Lying to federal officers (claiming Santa told him to do it)
• Endangerment (sled recklessness on icy terrain)

No bond has been set, and security measures are at an all-time high.

UPDATE: Over 500 Rainbow Trout were stocked today around noon in the Sulphur Fork Creek near the Robertson Co. Fairgrounds as part of TWRA’s winter trout stocking program. Here are a few pictures of some lucky trout fishermen taken today.

There will be two more trout stocking days 1/29/25 & 2/27/25.

An additional Trout supplemental fishing license is required to fish for them and keep them.
