The Fostoria Area Historical Society's Heritage Day Car Show, featuring the St. Wendelin Festival is back for the fourth straight year!

In addition to the car show (11:00 AM-3:00 PM), kids activities, museum tours, antique show and more will be available for every member of the family to enjoy! Beer and bratwursts, in addition to other food vendors, will be available from 11:00 AM-11:00 PM for this exciting event, located inside of Fostoria's DORA boundaries.

Governor Foster will be on hand to present the coveted 'Governor's Trophy' at the car show!

Capture 1 Studios will be rockin' out the DJ tunes until 7:00 PM when Electrik Circus takes the UrbanWoody Stage at 7:00 PM!

Capture 1 Studios is a media production company who most recently helped create the Dillinger Film with the Fostoria Area Historical Society! They specialize in Video Production - small and large crew jobs (they work all over Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Pennsylvania)
Photography - mostly corporate style or senior portraits
Film Transfer - taking film from VHS, 8mm, Super8, and other media to DVD or HDD
DJ - full DJ service for any style event (car shows, weddings, corporate events)

Heads up for anyone who missed the opening weekend!

Dillinger returns to the screen for a Memorial Day Matinee! We will have two showings:

SHOW 1 (doors open at 4:30 movie 5:00)
SHOW 2 (doors open at 6:30 movie 7:00)

Both shows take place at the History Corner in Downtown Fostoria. Tickets will be on sale Wednesday and Saturdays from Noon-2pm at Foster's Museum (105 N. Main St. next to WFOB) Tickets are $10 each. Seating is limited!

We would like to thank our wonderful cast and crew for a job well done! Post-production has finally wrapped and we are excited to show the world some of the rich history of Fostoria. Heritage Day 2024 is July 27th from 11am to 11pm! Featuring the Fostoria Area Historical Society Car Show and the St. Wendelin Festival! Electrik Circus takes the stage at 7pm!

It was March 31st, 2013 when we started Capture1 Studios. Since that time, we have filmed 1000's of hours, 100's of cities, met celebrates, filmed at the NBA playoffs, touched a ballistic nuclear missile, twisted 17 ankles, killed millions of insects with our lights, transferred over 4000 hours of customer's family footage, made 15 films, 1 full feature, and earned multiple awards along the way. (we don't count awards, it just feels weird to do that) Thank you to all our clients, friends, fans, and anyone who has helped us, liked us, shared us, or otherwise been a part of our journey. We love you!

Tonight is the world premiere of 'The Curse of Bryerstone' at Haunted Ghost Town in Findlay, Ohio. The film will be screening roughly every half hour starting at 6pm. Screening will continue every Friday and Saturday night through October 26th! Following the movie, you will get your chance to step into Bryerstone and finish the story! This family friendly event is open to all ages.

Coming August 17th! (NWO Film Festival, Fostoria, Ohio) Capture 1 Studios presents The Halloween UFO (trailer) It was a warm and clear evening as "trick-or-treaters" set out to gather ghoulish goodies. It was the turn of the century and a new era had arrived. However, on this night, something other than stars lurked in our skies. On the night of October 31st, 2000, over 25 reports of strange lights, fireballs, egg shaped craft, and blackouts flooded the mid-west area. With sightings as far as California and New York, this event goes down as one of the most witnessed in recent years. Among the witnesses was a pizza driver from Cygnet, Ohio. The pizza lady not only witnessed the strange lights, but got an up-close and personal look at a strange craft! The object described was not of this world. What happens next, will shock you even more! Starring Charles Thaxton, Denise Knitz, Thomas Wertman (MUFON), and Matt Erman.
