The Lady Spartans play Chinook today at 5 p.m. at the state basketball tournament.

It’s down pouring in Baker right now!

Ekalaka holds on for a narrow 32-30 win in the Baker Jam title contest over Baker Sunday evening in the high school gym.

Baker (2-1) picked up its second win Sunday, beating New England by a 41-30 margin in the high school gymnasium. The win put the seventh grade boys team into the finals in the high school gym. The Dawgs (2-0) are playing Beach (0-2) for the final spot and have a 27-13 lead.

Baker Running Rebel #1 used a strong second half against Spearfish to win the Fifth Grade boys title Saturday during the first day of Baker Jam youth basketball tournament. The first day was for fifth and sixth grade teams. The Sunday competition at the Baker High and Longfellow School gyms are for seventh and eighth grade teams.

It was time for Santa Saturday in downtown Marmarth. Santa spent some time visiting with local children.... even though most of the Santa 🎅 Days activities were called off.

Even Santa stopped by when Baker held its Christmas tree 🎄 lighting Sunday at the local park.
