Last year I Mixed a commercial with Bon Jovi, Boomed a spot with LeBron James and Anthony Daniels, and also Mixed something with Jeezy.

Despite all that, I made less than what I paid in taxes the previous year due to the strike.

Maintenance Monday: Antenna cable was the culprit of my Comtek RF Load LED blinking. Opening up the N connector revealed the fault. Simple
re-termination was the solution. Solid!

An award winning sound mixer offered me some work on a low budget passion project of his. He was never up front about the rate and then said, in response to me saying that minimum wage is as low as I can go, “I thought you were doing me a favor!?!” This guy actually expected me to work for FREE. Offering to work for $15/hr instead of $60 was not enough of a favor to this person. I guess he had his Producer hat on, lol.

This bag can do 90% of the jobs that I mix. If I need more then I have the Big Boy cart but this rig keeps it at home
most of the time. I just wish the 633 had a better slate mic option.
