The Family Guide & Family Fun Fair The Family Fun Fair is a parenting expo for housing & emergency resources, summer camps, scholarship We have been publishing the Parenting Directory since 2005.

The Family Guide offers an unmatched advertising environment.

90% of our distribution is through the students in the Public School Districts, Private, and Pre-Schools. The remaining 10% are distributed in public libraries, family friendly events, community partners & our advertisers in the Spokane and N. Idaho area.

See you this Saturday for K-Pop at the Dance Market.
Downtown Spokane Partnership, River City Kitchens & Spokane United We Stand are joining forces to organize a Dance Market every Saturday at 6 pm to 9 pm on August at Wall Street (between the M Building & River Park Square Mall).

A brand new free, all-ages street party, running every Saturday through the month of August 2024. Come downtown at Wall Street (between the M Building & River Park Square Mall facing, Main St) for an exciting lineup of music, performance, food, shopping, and art.
Dance instructor Z, born and grew up in China, focuses on hip hop for over 10 years, especially Chinese pop, Korean pop and Japanese pop.

For 8/10, there will be a combination of Chinese pop, Korean Pop and Japanese pop. Besides the Asian pop theme, and a sports theme.

Our Story

Established in 2005. The Family Guide's mission is to connect families with school age children with programs and resources available in Spokane and N. Idaho. We do this through our parenting guide distributed at local schools, libraries and organizations with youth & family programs.

We also organize The Family Fun Fair - a parenting expo for housing & emergency resources, summer camps, scholarships, children’s health which includes connecting parents with children who are affected with special needs, disabilities, learning disorders and children's mental health w/ the tools, support and programs available in our local community.
