RIP Bill Walton... a true Deadhead. I had the honor back in the late 80's to meet and talk with him at a small venue in San Diego during a Greg Allman Band show and 3 weeks later at the same place for a Leon Russell show... ✌

Bill Walton, who won two NCAA titles with UCLA and two NBA championships during a Hall of Fame career, died Monday at age 71 after a prolonged battle with cancer.
