This May joins Modarnity with a three track EP titled Focus. These deep cutzzz are perfect for the incoming summer festival season whether its a daytime pool party or a nasty 4am dust-fest.
The title chune, Focus, is a tech house roller that just won't quit. The sexy vocals peppered on top of 808 bass and delicate percussion will get your b***y shaking and your head bobbing. With elements that even the biggest pop names have trouble mastering, Burnsbeatz keeps the pads and stabs at just the right temperature when he's in the kitchen cooking up the heat. All in all Focus is high-class main course for this three course dinner.
If you're looking for something a little darker, Not Fake is perfect for the techno heads. A heavy slamming kick with dark tech basses and stabs really highlight Burnsbeatz ability as a producer who can make any style his own. The repetitive vocals in Not Fake and tearing synthlines seamless meld with the melodic elements in the breaks truly taking the listener on a journey to dark dusty dancefloor.
After Dark, is the cherry on top of this EP, Burnsbeats's techno sensibilities really shine through in this dish. The harmonized looping vocals and crispy hi-hats send it straight to the warehouse anthem department. The pulsating bassline and flashy delays are reminiscent of the glory days of minimal techno parties.

If you've been missing your monthly dose of modarn tunes, well you better get ready because is back for 2022. This time we're bringing you a banging EP from CASTA (USA)] titled Look At Yourself.
Look At Yourself is a stone solid Tech-house roller that pulls out all the stops. The tough bass-line will get you stomping your feet to the clean and crisp percussion and punchy kick drum. The call and response between the vocal and synth stabs float you across the rave-space seamlessly so that every drop brings you right back into the electric groove.
Bounce keeps the strong Tech-house vibe going while capturing a bit of a more emotional atmosphere. The smooth pads and melodic vocals take you on a trip from the moment the song begins all the way to the end. The synth stabs and catchy bassline flow over the bouncy rhythms and if you close your eyes you might just forget you're not at a festival out in the desert.

Modarnity Is Proud To Present Truncate; tickets on sale now.

In early 2011, he started the project Truncate to focus on the deeper, raw side of techno. His Truncate releases have been gain critical acclaim from world class underground talent such as Modeselektor, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Eats Everything, Joris Voorn, and many more. Since then, he has provided remixes for artists across the musical spectrum including Kink! for Pets Recordings, Slam for Soma, Trus’me for Prime Numbers, and Josh Wink for Boyznoise. He has also released original tracks on 50 Weapons and on Ultramajic as a collaboration with Jimmy Edgar, with upcoming works due on Blueprint Recordings and of course Truncate. A rigorous international tour schedule has followed, including stops at the most prestigious venues and events, including Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, Concrete in Paris, The Movement Festival in Detroit, Womb in Tokyo, Dimensions Festival in Croatia, Awakenings in Amsterdam and Output in New York. With his heavy remix, production and touring schedule there is still no slowing down for David. He continues to shape an evolving sound and to champion the Los Angeles underground.

Josh Brooks started his career in college after winning a competition his love for electronica and techno took off. Working along side a plethora of renowned producers he developed his unique style in the studio. Release after release Josh rose in the underground scene. He is a key component and one of the founders of La Music Project. Josh Brook’s love for music still is seen every time he takes the stage whether it be a stage at Coachella or in his home City of Los Angeles, Josh Brooks Rises to the occasion. Along side Josh, we are joined by two more La locals on the rise, NAIAD and Ambiwlans.
